“Pirates Lost at Sea!” / Read Aloud to Jager
Ahoy! Set sail with us on a thrilling action-packed adventure about a crew of quirky pirates marooned on a desert island. With mutiny and high-tide looming, they must rescue their salty captain and find a way to repair their ship before all hope is lost! Throughout the story, volunteers from the audience will help us explore the incredible science behind clouds, combustion, air pressure and more through amazing science experiments. Fun for all ages. Presented by TaleWise.

What is living in our local waterways? You will touch and see live critters that came from a local creek or river. Through microscope use and identification activities, you will learn about the life cycles of each specimen and how to determine the health and quality of the water in which they live.

Ryan Bridge, the “Bug Man”
The bugs are back! Even though an insect’s respiratory system does not allow it to survive in saltwater (without being eaten by a fish!), there are plenty of aquatic insects that love FRESH water. Come out and meet them! There will be opportunity to hold live insects for those who choose to. All ages.

Jesse Rothacker’s Reptile Explorers
Laugh and learn with Jesse Rothacker and his merry band of castaway critters. You’ll meet snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocs from around the world, and they’ll all be in one place – at your local library – so you won’t have to cross the seven seas! Make sure to pick up a free reptile bookmark, and check out some reptile books from the library the day of the show!

Do you have rhythms in your hands? In your feet? In your heart? We believe that there are rhythms to express, join in, and play together inside us and all around us. Come join us to explore your rhythm as we take a trip to West Africa to a village where rhythms are part of everyday living!
