    Meet Al and Patti Means and their amazing bloodhounds Heather, Reuben, and Chip!  These dogs have found lost children and elderly people and assist the police with tracking down criminals.  Find out how “hugging a tree” can keep you safe!  Weather permitting, the dogs will demonstrate tracking a person.  Rain location: Park School Gym.

  • National Night Out 2018

  • Fred Nell and “Sadie”

    A Columbia native and his drug sniffing dog!  “Sadie”  is a drug search dog owned and trained by Mr. Fred Nell.  She is trained to find many dangerous substances.  But when her harness comes off—Sadie just loves to play!  Come out and meet her (and her handler, Fred Nell) – Sadie will show off her searching skills and play a few rounds of catch or tug-of-war.

    The Land of Stories tells the tale of twins Alex and Conner. Through the mysterious powers of a book of stories, they leave their world behind and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with the fairy tale characters they grew up reading about.
    But a series of encounters leads them to realize that getting back home is going to be harder than they thought!  For students in grades 9 through 12.
