Project: MATS

Our crochet team is making sleeping mats for the homeless by crocheting “plarn” (plastic yarn).  We are starting a group to fold, cut, and attach plastic grcoery bags to make the “plarn”.  Anyone is welcome to come on Thursdays at 1 PM, and Cathy will show you how to cut, fold, and attach the bags.  It takes 700 bags to make one mat.  WE NEED BAGS!!!
