February 23 at 5pm: Weeknight Chicken & Dumplings with Shanna
Ingredients:
- 5 slices GIANT Low Sodium bacon, chopped
- 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 (8 oz) container diced celery and onions
- 4 cups Nature’s Promise Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1 ¼ cups buttermilk, divided
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- Supplies: Dutch oven (or large pot), mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, cutting board, knife
