Early Closing due to Mardi Gras Parade 10-6 pm

This year’s theme is Fun ‘n Games. Individuals, organizations and businesses can register by calling 684-2714. There is no entry fee and $1500 in prizes will be awarded. The parade steps off at the Columbia Borough Fire Department at 10th and Manor Streets and follows this route: Manor to 4th. 4th to Union. Union to Second. Second to Locust. Locust to 6th. 6th to Cherry. Parade participants are reminded not to throw candy from floats. Handing candy along the curb line is permitted.
