Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus additional for serving
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 pound jumbo asparagus
  • 8 oz. fettucine
  • 6 slices low sodium bacon
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • Supplies: Pot, medium bowl, vegetable peeler, measuring cups and spoons, strainer, large skillet
