April 6 at 5pm: Asparagus Fettucine Carbonara with Shanna
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus additional for serving
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 pound jumbo asparagus
- 8 oz. fettucine
- 6 slices low sodium bacon
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves
- Salt and pepper
- Supplies: Pot, medium bowl, vegetable peeler, measuring cups and spoons, strainer, large skillet
